As someone who enjoys trying out and purchasing skincare products, I always stop by Sephora every time I visit the mall. I recently started using Sephora’s free rewards program (Beauty Insider) to earn points when I purchase products. However, I was disappointed by how difficult it was to locate my Beauty Insider barcode. I wanted to use the barcode when checking out so the cashier can easily scan it instead of looking for my membership info by asking for my phone number. Don’t get me wrong - the app has amazing features to it such as when looking for products to purchase online. Unfortunately, I found the home page a bit overwhelming and hard to navigate. This challenged me to redesign the app and think of ways to improve it.
